Morton Salt is proud to announce its connection to one of the Kansas City region’s most anticipated new entertainment venues: Morton Amphitheater. Operated by Live Nation and currently under construction in Riverside, Missouri, the state-of-the-art outdoor venue is expected to open in 2026 and bring world-class live music experiences to the region. The amphitheater’s name reflects Morton Salt’s long-standing commitment to the communities where we live and work, including our corporate headquarters in the Kansas City area.
Designed to accommodate up to 16,000 guests, Morton Amphitheater will offer a premier concert experience for fans and performers alike. Live Nation expects the venue to host more than 30 concerts each season, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors annually and further strengthening Kansas City’s reputation as a destination for live entertainment.
The venue will be located on a 135-acre site in Riverside, creating a new gathering place for music lovers while contributing to the region’s continued growth and economic development. In addition to concerts, the amphitheater is expected to support major community events and bring new opportunities for visitors, local businesses, and tourism throughout the Kansas City metro area.
