This week marks the opening of Morton Amphitheater, a new live music destination in Riverside, Missouri, and an exciting milestone for the Kansas City region. Designed to bring fans and artists closer together, the 16,000-capacity venue will host a diverse lineup of concerts and events while creating a new gathering place for the community. Live Nation describes the venue as a long-term investment in the region, expected to drive tourism, economic activity, and memorable experiences for years to come.
For Morton Salt, the amphitheater represents more than a name – it reflects our commitment to bringing people together. As our CEO, Mark Demetree, shared, “We’re excited to connect the Morton Salt brand with fans through unforgettable live music experiences. The Morton Amphitheater is a unique opportunity to celebrate community, entertainment, and the moments that bring people together.”
The venue arrives at an exciting time for the region and creates a space where music, entertainment, and community can come together. From headline concerts to special events, Morton Amphitheater will serve as a place for friends, families, and visitors to create lasting memories while celebrating the energy and culture that make Kansas City unique.
As Morton Salt continues to build on more than 175 years of history, we’re proud to support experiences that foster connection, creativity, and community. We look forward to seeing Morton Amphitheater become a destination that reflects the spirit of the Midwest and creates unforgettable moments for generations to come.
