Reporting to the Chief Engineer in the Powerhouse at Windsor Salt’s Windsor Evaporation Facility in Windsor, Ontario, this person will be responsible for: • Efficient operation of three (3) on-site boilers • Management of cogeneration steam and operation of power generation systems • Operation of air compressors, pumps and plant heating and fire systems • Effectively communicating and problem-solving with the production and maintenance teams • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment • Contributing to the Powerhouse team by accomplishing other duties as assigned

The 3rd Shift Production Operator operates and maintains the facility’s packaging lines, including scales, manual baggers, and heat sealers. They ensure equipment runs efficiently through regular cleaning and maintenance. The operator performs visual inspections of the bags, checks seals, and conducts weight checks to ensure proper product quantity. The role requires training as both a hopper and sealer.

Windsor Salt’s Evaporation Facility in Windsor, Ontario has an opening for a Pan Room Operator that requires a 4th Class Operating Engineer qualification.  This person will be responsible for operating the food grade evaporation operations and effectively communicating and problem-solving with the team to ensure production is running efficiently.  The successful candidate will be able to work a 12-hour continental shift schedule.

Under the general supervision of the Mine Maintenance Manager and the direct supervision of the Mine Maintenance Foreman, the mine electrician completes installations, maintenance of electrical lines, electrical repairs, and construction work in the mine. Mine Electrician will inspect and test electrical lighting, signal, and communication and power circuits. The electrician will also diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, apparatuses and components, not to exclude other duties as assigned.
