  • Solar Salt

    Newark, CA

At our solar sites, we draw ocean, sea or saline lake water into large ponds. Sun and wind evaporate the water and salt crystallizes and is collected using mechanical harvesting equipment.

Products made at our solar sites include water softening salts and packaged ice melts.

  • Terminal Salt

    Cincinnati, OH

As our team mines and stockpiles salt throughout the year, we leverage our broad network to deliver on our customers' needs, whether by vessel, barge, rail or truck.

  • Rock Salt

    Fairport, OH

At our mines, salt is mined hundreds of feet underground and then crushed into smaller sizes. It is then hoisted to the surface for further processing.
