Keep Calm Caramelized Onion Soup

Recipe provided by Chef Joel Gamoran (@joelgamoran)

Nothing’s better than caramelized onions, and they are the star in this dish. Served up family style, this comfort food classic promises to fill your belly and warm your soul – leaving everyone fully satisfied.

I love using Morton® Fine Himalayan Pink Salt for this dish because the crystals dissolve quickly making it easy to blend evenly within soups, packing loads of flavor. Enjoy!

Food Waste Tips:

– Save those onion skins and add them back into the stock to amp up the onion flavor of your dish! Just don’t forget to pull them out at the end.
– Salt is not only super important in caramelizing onions, but is a fantastic finisher when sprinkled on top right before serving.
