Crunchy Salad Topping

Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Servings: Makes 2 cups

 

 
Ingredients 
2 cups chow mein fried noodles

2 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine, melted

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Morton® Coarse Kosher Salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon Tandoori spice blend *
 

 

Directions

Combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Spread mixture in 13x9-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350° F. for 10 minutes, stirring half way through. Cool 10 minutes. Store in airtight container until needed. Use one (1) tablespoon for each salad serving.


Tips:

* Tandoori spice blend can be found in the International ethnic section at most supermarkets or at specialty Asian markets.
·
Substitute ginger, garlic or curry powder for Tandoori spice blend.

Crunchy topping can be used to sprinkle on casseroles or fruit salads.
