Salty Ginger-Rimmed Ruby Red Ritas

Ingredients 

1 tablespoon finely minced crystallized ginger*
1 tablespoon Morton® Coarse Kosher Salt
¼ cup ginger ale**
1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate, undiluted
1 cup ruby red grapefruit juice
Crushed ice
Skewered fresh fruit (optional garnish)


*Look for crystallized ginger in the specialty spice section.
**For an alcoholic beverage substitute tequila for ginger ale.

 

 

Directions

Combine crystallized ginger and Morton® Kosher Salt. Dampen exterior rim of margarita glass with water. Roll glass in ginger and Kosher Salt mixture. Fill glass with crushed ice. Combine ginger ale, orange juice concentrate and grapefruit juice. Pour into margarita glass. Garnish with skewered fresh fruit, if desired.
