Salsa’d Tuna Grill

Ingredients 
4 six-ounce tuna steaks
2 teaspoons Morton® Nature's Seasons® Seasoning Blend
1 teaspoon Morton® Garlic Salt
1/4 cup olive oil*
2 tablespoons lemon juice*
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 to 1/2 cup crumbled bleu cheese
* Seasoned Dressing may be substituted, using lemon juice in place of vinegar
 

 

Directions

Season tuna with Nature’s Seasons® seasoning blend and Garlic Salt. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours or overnight. Discard any remaining marinade. Grill to desired doneness or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Combine cheeses, sprinkle evenly over fish. Allow cheese to melt over grill.

Serve immediately with Fresh Vegetable Salsa and Spiced Potatoes.


Seasoned Dressing (or Marinade)
Makes about ½ cup
¼ cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons canola or vegetable oil
3 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
2 tablespoons snipped fresh basil (or 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed)
1 teaspoon Nature’s Seasons® seasoning blend

In a small bowl, combine all dressing ingredients; blend well. After marinating meat, fish, chicken, discard leftover marinade.
