Crunchy Chicken Salad over Tomato Wedges

Prep Time: 30 Minutes Refrigerate 2 Hours
Servings: Makes 3-1/4 cups

 

 
Ingredients 
2-1/4 cups cooked, diced chicken*
1/3 cup diced water chestnuts
1/3 cup finely diced celery
1/4 cup finely sliced green onions
1/4 cup toasted almonds, chopped
1/4 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/2 – 3/4 cup mayonnaise
3/4 teaspoon Morton® Nature's Seasons® Seasoning Blend
Morton® Seasoned Salt
, to taste
White pepper to taste
8 small to medium size tomatoes, sectioned in to 8 wedges (do not slice completely through tomato)
Toasted almonds, chopped
Celery leaves
 

 

Directions

In large bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Add Morton® Nature’s Seasons® seasoning blend and Morton® Seasoned Salt; mix well. Adjust seasonings. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Divide and place mixture evenly in center of sectioned tomato wedges. Garnish with toasted almonds and celery leaves.
