Mild Aromatic Rub
Recipe Summary
This rub is super versatile thanks to spices that cross many borders, like coriander, ginger, and cumin. Use to flavor chicken wings, beef kabobs, or jumbo shrimp.

Servings: Makes 1/4 cup
Directions
Preparations:
Combine all ingredients in small bowl. Store in airtight container in cool dry place until needed.
Cooking:
Poultry – Chicken/Turkey – Sprinkle, then pat on about 1 teaspoon Aromatic Rub on each chicken or turkey piece. Use additional Rub for whole bird. Allow to marinate in refrigerator at least 30 minutes. Proceed to bake, broil or grill until chicken or turkey piece is cooked through and juices run clear. (* Internal temperature -- 170° F. for poultry breast pieces; internal temperature -- 180° F. for poultry thighs and wings).
Tips:
*Internal temperature for whole chicken or turkey – 180° F. ·

Variation: Aromatic Paste - Mix 1 tablespoon Spice/Rub with 3 tablespoons oil. ·
Use Rub on steak. Grill to desired doneness – (160° F. medium). ·
Brush warmed pita bread triangles with oil; sprinkle with Morton ® Kosher Salt Aromatic Rub. Use to prepare stuffed sandwiches.
