Basil Bread Crumb Topping

Directions
Combine bread crumbs and oil in shallow pan. Bake at 350°F. until crumbs are toasted and golden brown, about 10 minutes. Transfer to small bowl and stir in remaining ingredients. Store in airtight container in cool dry place until needed.
Tips:
Toss hot cooked pasta with Bread Crumb Topping, olive oil and minced garlic. ·
For oven-fried vegetables, coat sliced zucchini, sweet peppers, tomatoes or eggplant with bread crumb mixture. Proceed to bake until vegetables are cooked crisp-tender and crumbs are golden brown.
