Morton International Announces Purchase of
McCormick’s Season-All® Brand Seasoning Line

CHICAGO, IL – JULY 31, 2008

Morton Salt, a division of Morton International, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the Season-All brand seasoned salt line from McCormick & Company for $15 million in cash. This purchase supports Morton Salt's strategy of expanding its specialty salt portfolio, which today includes Nature's Seasons, Coarse Kosher and Sea Salts. The Season-All seasoning line includes Original, Garlic, Spicy, 25% Less Sodium and Crusting Blend products.

Morton will continue to utilize the Season-All trademark and formula under the Morton Salt brand name.
